UBIC

Saturday morning we went to the UBIC parade - we were running low on our 4th of July parade candy so we decided that we needed to go stock up. There were more kids sitting by us saturday so we had to fight for it - so with what we ate and what was left over, it was only about 1/4 of what we got in Neola. Plus it was about 1 1/2 hours later in the day so we just about melted.

McKinley - Bryton - Grant (will the candy ever come??)

Bryton - McKinley - Jackie
(practicing their princess waves)

The fight is on.

After the parade we went home, gave Aspen a bath and jumped on the trampoline with the sprinkler under it to cool off.

We then went up to the park to eat dinner and sit on a very uncomfortable hill for 5 hours. Just a little note - (*Don't sit on the middle of a hill when you have 6 1/2 weeks left in your pregnancy - you will be sore for 2-3 days afterward). It was fun even though it was uncomfortable. We got to watch Eddie Money perform and listen to him yell that he loved Roooooooosevelt. Then we go to watch the fireworks and carry all of our sleeping children home. Thankfully Scott and Tammy were there to carry one of them home for us.
Here is a picture of all the kids sitting semi-still (almost the only time it happened all night long).
Max - Carson - Bryton - Jackson - Grant - Sophie - McKinley

Jackson - sitting still like a well mannered kid.
Jackie - drinking someone elses drink.

Jackie - dancing with someone elses shoes.

Jackie - tackling someone elses kid.
Jackie - eating someone elses popcorn.
(who does this child belong to anyway?)

I look like you hunted me.

Jackson and Grant

Our kids have yet to see any fireworks either at the park or at home because we just can't seem to keep our peepers open for them.  Do you think they played hard????

OOOOOOHHHHH!

AAAAAHHHHHH!
